What is the measure of a city?

The changes I’ve seen in Buffalo in recent years have led me to this: a city is its spirit. A city is its sense of community. A city is its people gathering together, their collective energy creating a sense of purpose as they work toward the future.

A little about our camp

Canisius for Kidsis a community of children using their collective energy to broaden their understanding of Buffalo’s past, appreciate its present, and create a vision for its future.

At its core, Canisius for Kids (C4K) is an interdisciplinary camp promoting the use of creative thinking skills. Open to all Buffalo-area students entering grades K-8, this camp pairs certified teachers trained in Differentiated Instruction with students looking for rich, engaging activities that integrate art, music, and technology with math, science, history and language arts. The camp is sponsored by Canisius College, and staffed by faculty and students of the college’s Differentiated Instruction Masters Program.
